Summary
Visual intelligence means the evidence is part of the record, not an attachment to it. Identity, condition and location are captured at the point of contact and bound to the record you already keep, so the system of record becomes a system of evidence.
A state does not have one inventory. It has 50, and none of them agree.
Surplus property in one agency is a spreadsheet, in another a legacy database, in a third a clipboard. Evidence rooms follow their own rules. Fleet and equipment sit in a fourth system. Reconciling them at year end is a project every year.
The platform does not replace those systems. It gives each of them the same evidence layer, so a capture taken in any department produces a record every other department can trust.

A record that matches the floor, and holds up in the audit.
Re-capture an asset and the platform reports whether it has changed. Transfers are recorded as events with evidence attached. Exceptions go to a person rather than a second count.

Is the platform in production for a state today?
Yes. A statewide requirement for property identification and disposition is deployed on the platform and in production. The state is not named on this site.

Does every agency have to use the same system?
No. Each agency keeps its own system. The platform adds the same evidence layer to all of them, so a record created in one department can be trusted by every other.
